If you read Proverbs 8 you will find God’s most ancient creation is calling. Do you hear her raising her voice? Her name is Wisdom. “ADONAI [the Lord] made me as the beginning of his way, the first of his ancient works. I was appointed before the world, before the start, before the earth’s beginnings.” There are many voices fighting for your attention continuously. Some bring great danger and destruction so you must choose carefully who you will listen to. 

Who can you really trust? How many times has a piece of fruit seemed good on the outside only to be rotten in the middle? However, Wisdom has been Father’s trusted companion since the time He began to create. She has played in His presence ever since and never been cast away. But, why is she calling to you? Because the Lord has entrusted her with wonderful gifts to share and you are a chosen one.

Have you welcomed her into your heart, yet? If not, perhaps you are unaware of all she has to offer you. “I, wisdom, live together with caution; I attain knowledge and discretion.” “Good advice is mine, and common sense; I am insight, power is mine.” “Riches and honor are with me, lasting wealth and righteousness. My fruit is better than gold, fine gold, my produce better than the finest silver. I follow the course of righteousness along the paths of justice, to endow with wealth those who love me and fill their treasuries.”

Today, many people will stand in line hoping to purchase the winning lottery ticket so they might attain the bounty that wisdom freely offers. But the lottery winner will leave their treasures behind; Wisdom holds on through eternity. “Therefore, children, listen to me: happy are those who keep my ways. Hear instruction, and grow wise; don’t refuse it.” When you hear her calling today, fear not; Father trusts her, so can you.
