Are you afraid of death? If you have given your heart to Jesus you have no real reason to fear death because it will never touch you. You have eternal life–already. Your soul is bulletproof. It’s secured by the Gatekeeper–the Spirit that moved in when you said “Yes” to Christ. The Spirit is a homebody–He doesn’t leave you to go visit others. He stays right there with you. As you feed Him, He overflows to others but His home in your soul is never in danger of being abandoned. Your body will die and decay but as you take your last breath here, the Rauch HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) will transport you through the graduation portal to your future where God will display all the glory He has been anxious to share with you.

If you express a desire to get there soon, some people may say you have a death wish and if you are hating this life, perhaps you do. But, it’s possible to look forward to Heaven while still being content to live here. That is a life wish! Life in Heaven will be our ultimate joy!

“Yes! I tell you that unless you change and become like little children, you won’t even enter the kingdom of Heaven!” (Matthew 18:3)  As a child, if you were told you were going somewhere special, you would get more excited every day, imagining yourself already there. If you are God’s child, He has told you of a very exciting and beautiful kingdom that He is taking you to. Unlike the trip I promised my kids that never happened, you can trust your Father. His promise will not fail. It’s ok to get excited about the trip you will take with the Lord. I’ve heard it said that you can’t kill a Christian–you can only change their address–it truly is a life wish!
