If you read the Bible at all you are bound to see places where Jesus healed everyone who came to Him. Do you wish you had the ability to do the great things Jesus did? “Yes indeed! I tell you that whoever trusts in me will also do the works I do! Indeed, he will do greater ones.” (John 14:12) Do you feel that you have missed the mark because you haven’t been blessed with the gift of healing? I believe you have been given the gift but perhaps you haven’t yet tapped into your abilities.

Most of us automatically think physical healing is the goal. However, spiritual healing is the greater gift by far. A person who has been spiritually healed is able to overcome physical brokenness. Have you ever considered the power you have been given by way of your words or silence? Any of us with a voice and a sound mind have the qualifications it takes to be a spiritual healer. It starts with closing your mouth, inviting Father to form your response, and listening. 

Sometimes listening is all you need to do. Some people just need someone to talk to in order to find their way in the dark. Some people need you to guide or direct them to the arms of Jesus. If you make a habit of asking the Lord to guide your words you will find you do have the gift of healing.

We are made to be encouragers to one another but we need to sharpen our skills by continually placing ourselves in the Master’s presence, to be guided in our guiding, healed as we help others to be healed. Unlimited power lives in you through God’s Holy Spirit. Follow his lead and soar to new horizons. Be the healer you were designed to be.
