“How awe-inspiring you are, God, from your holy places, the God of Isra`el, who gives strength and power to the people. Blessed be God!” (Psalm 68:36 (35))  Where does your mind go when you consider the holy places? For many of us our minds go straight to heaven where we know God lives and rules. Are you one of the many? Or have your eyes been opened to see that your heart, if you have accepted Jesus’ gift of redemption, is a holy place because the Spirit lives within you?

God’s power and strength are already seeded within your heart. What you do with your seedlings will make all the difference in your life. You can ignore them, let the weeds cover them over and continue feeling helpless in your world. Or, you can water and fertilize your little garden and watch it grow to proportions you never believed possible. 

Father grows you in strength and power abundantly but you have to go to the source. Your inspiration and the power to accomplish it, all begin with Jesus who is the living Spirit within your heart. You don’t have to travel to meet with him. He’s always present, always alert, always desiring to give you more strength to stand firmly, and power to forge ahead. Water your seedlings with hope, fertilize them with faith and harvest with love the power and strength that only God can give.
